Moving? Already?

Well, kinda.

After I started this art blog, I talked to a friend of mine who pointed out that I should have made this on Tumblr, so more people could see and share my artwork.

She had a point, and I realized I'm amazingly stupid for not thinking of that.

So, you can see my art tumblr account here.

Thanks guys!

GingerDead Man

So I was making gingerbread cookies last Christmas, and this is what I decided to do with a broken one.

I think I should see a psychologist of some sort.

Alternate title: Another Victim of the Cookie Cutter!

I Can't Hear You

I made this after I read a story about the loneliest whale in the world.

Oh my goodness, it made me so sad I had to make something for that poor little guy (if that makes any sense at all.)

This was also when I was still figuring out my tablet and PhotoShop, really getting in to digital art.

Lisa Garland (Silent Hill)

I'm a huge fan of Silent Hill, and decided to draw this while figuring out my (at the time) new tablet. This was also my first piece made completely in PhotoShop.

Fairy on Flower

And here we have my first foray into photo editing, from about a year ago. Not the greatest, but it was a start.

Daisy Patch

...Pretty sure these are daisies, I'm not very knowledgeable in flower names.

These are from someone's front garden, I took the picture on a walk.

Purple Flower

This is probably my favorite of any photograph I've done, just because it turned out so clear and crisp without me having to edit it at all! I got very lucky.

Yellow Flower

I was on a walk one day with a borrowed camera, and ended up with a plethora of photographs - mainly flowers, as it was a pretty spring afternoon.

This turned out rather nicely, though again with the low picture quality. My apologies for technological ineptitude.

Flowers Vase

(Detail)
Disclaimer: I didn't make the vase itself, I just painted it.

I made this last year, when my dad took my sisters and I to one of those paint-your-own-clay thing places. I think it turned out rather nicely, and now I use it to hold incense.

Apologies for the low quality - I somehow saved the thumbnail, and had to enlarge it, bringing down the resolution. I utterly fail at technology.

Chocolate Rose

A rose made of, well, chocolate. I made this when I went to a chocolate-making course last summer, which seemed like fun. Hey, it killed an hour or so, and we got to keep the chocolate we made!

I remember I ended up debating for so long on whether or not to eat it, that it eventually went stale and I had to throw it out anyway. Not a very interesting end to it, but I never said I was an interesting person.

Well well, a blog

This is basically my art blog. I also have a deviantART account, but this will give more in-depth backstory and commentary on pieces of mine.

I mainly do digital art, but also dabble in photography.

I love feedback and critique, feel free to comment. Hope you enjoy!
